Family Day has quickly become one of the most loved traditions inside our hall, and for good reason. It’s the one day each month where the bingo tables fill with kids, parents, grandparents, and entire friend groups who come together for an afternoon of fun, food, and community.
While most of our sessions are geared toward adults, Family Day is designed to be a welcoming, relaxed environment where everyone can join in. It’s bingo with a softer edge, a little more laughter, and a whole lot of memories being made.
What Makes Family Day Special
Family Day isn’t just about playing bingo, it’s about giving families a place to gather, unwind, and enjoy time together. Here’s what makes it stand out:
• Kid‑friendly atmosphere with simplified games and a lighter pace
• Affordable fun for families looking for something to do together
• Snacks, treats, and hall favorites available throughout the session
• A welcoming crowd that includes longtime players and first‑timers
• A chance for kids to experience the hall in a safe, community‑focused setting
How Family Day Works
Family Day is simple, accessible, and designed for all ages:
• $10 per person
• All winnings paid out in gift cards
• Doors open at noon
• Games run from 1–3 PM
• Held during the school year
• Typically scheduled for the middle of the month on a Sunday afternoon
It’s an easy, affordable way to spend a Sunday together, no experience needed, just show up and play.
Why We Host Family Day
At Giving Hope Bingo, the kids are at the center of everything we do. Family Day gives us the chance to open our doors a little wider and create a space where everyone, not just regular players, can be part of the fun.
It’s also a great introduction for families who want to see what the hall is all about. Many of our future players first discover us on a Family Day afternoon, and we love watching them return for more sessions as they grow.
